I(Roza) have decided that I will be the "Anniversary" blogger for the Washed By the Water Family!!!!! Since taking on this roll (yesterday) I have been learning each couple's sacred day of Marriage....and I have the privledge of sharing yet another 14 year Anniversary that a super sweet couple celebrated last week while vacationing at the beach!!!!!!

On July 15th, the Hooper's celebrated 14 years of marriage!!!!! Thank God for the anniversary's our Family has witnessed the last couple weeks!!!! Praise the Lord for the Hooper's and for the beautiful smiles that have! For the peace and thoughtfulness they have shared with us!!!

Every Sunday night we get together. Last Sunday night many of us couldn't make it. And the ones that did were tired, defeated and worn out!

But, not the kiddos. Their smiles and giggles radiated through the house (and backyard).

Doesn't that remind you of when Jesus said that if we wanted to come to him we must be like the little children? Luke 18:16But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. These kids don't know what a financial crisis is...heck a crisis to Cami is not getting to see Bella (Cami's best friend) every day!

Luckily, we came to Him...

we came as adults and left feeling more like the children He called us to be. When the Holy Spirit meets you, your worries are silly and the love He gives makes you remember who we are...CHILDREN OF GOD!

And the guys even cleaned the kitchen!

Donate a Tree Foundation

The members of the Washed by the Water Church are proud to announce the establishment of our new civic foundation. Just tonight we created the Donate a Tree Foundation or DATF to spread love to our fellow Christian brothers through the gift of an evergreen tree.

Here is a picture of one of our members next to the tree that was donated, actually placed in a hole dug by other members with a post hole digger, in our friends front yard.

But, the love does not stop there.... as a part of DATF's warm contribution, the tree will be papered with cottonelle ultra blend. Only the finest for our friends!

You can see the love and excitement in this DATF member's face as they leave this rootless evergreen for the Smiths to cherish for at least another couple of days!
